Sociology of Identity

These papers were written for the course Sociology of Identity from Griffith University. The first paper discusses the views on identity by Erving Goffman and Herbert Marcuse and it is argued that the perspectives of Goffman and Marcuse are complementary to each other. The second paper deal with the effects of being labelled as having a mental disorder on one's identity.
