Pyramidographia: The Geometry of the Great Pyramid

The pyramid of Khufu

The Great Pyramid has been measured countless times and there many theories about the origin and meaning of its geometry. Detailed information about the Great Pyramid can be found in many places on the internet. Flinders Petries The Pyramids and Temples of Gizeh has been digitised by Ronald Birdsal. The Giza Plateau Maping Project has created an accurate model of the whole plateau. The Guardian's Egypt website contains a great collection of detailed photographs and Rudolph Gantenbrink has provided detailed information about the channels in the pyramid.

Problem with this data is that the Petrie book is very hard to read because it contains no plans and sections and the Giza Plateau mapping project is not available to the public. I thus decided to create my own drawings.

The purpose of this project is to provide a resource for fellow pyramid researchers requiring detailed information. All information is provided under a Creative Commons license and can be freely used by anyone, as long as ot is properly referecned.

The information on the webiste is only available in pdf format. If you which to have access to the DXF files to undertake your own analysis, please contact me.

The drawings are complete, but still contain uncertainties and additional information would be very welcome. You can help me with the following:
