Reconstruction of the Geleen River, Geleen (the Netherlands)

This was my first ever civil engineering project. The scope of this job was a reconstruction of the Geleen river (Geleenbeek). The works included removal of existing shore protection and install a new rock surface. In some areas, the alignment of the river was changed to allow for a more natural flow. The works were undertaken by van den Herik dredging contractors.
